Attach database to SQL SERVER

Sometimes databases are created elsewhere such as databases are created by visual studio or you have imported from some where else.

These databases are not shown in SQL SERVER Management Studio therefore we should attach them to Management Studio.

I know a very easy way to attach database files to SQL Server Management Studio.

  1. Install SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio
  2. Go to start menu
  3. Search for SQL Server Management Studio
  4. Right Click and Run as Administrator
  5. SQL Server Management Studio
    SQL Server Management Studio
  6. Click Yes
  7. Click on Connect
  8. Right Click on Databases and select Attach
  9. Click on Add and Locate Your .mdf database file
  10. SQL Server Management Studio
    SQL Server Management Studio
  11. OK and OK
  12. And Here is Your Database Attached
